I'm still here.
It's been over a month.
School has started, which is why I haven't posted. My days vary from dealing with all angelic students to my 7/8 class acting like nightmares. Unfortunately, the latter still outweigh the former. Today was one of those. I've got 3 people in line for garbage duty tomorrow at recess, and there probably should've been four or five, but I was being too nice in the morning.
I'm teaching a bazillion classes. I'm getting swamped in grading homework, because I can't trust the 5-6 kids to grade things in class. I discovered that with my math class... and the Lit students are even more clueless. They can't do their own right, how can they grade someone else's? so I'm stuck grading everything right now until we reach an understanding threshold.
I'm going back to grading now.
